I claim no ownership of this idea at all, it's been done a few times before and to remarkable success. I think the original creator was Britt many years ago. So kudos to her.
Plot
Setting:
The world of Harry Potter - Mainly Hogwarts based but there are other places to go too.
Timeline:
Present, which means if you have older charries you can make them younger to suit. It's all not limited to celebrities from now, you can have old stars that are now deceased etc.
RP Type:
Serious. Semi-Serious is accepted if potential is seen. This means that absolutely no one liners or single paragraphs are accepted. Unless once you've been accepted you're ill etc.
Storyline:
Basically it's celebrities at Hogwarts, celebs from music, movies, modelling etc. Imagine they were born with magical abilities like Harry Potter and co and put them at Hogwarts. Naturally with the amount of tension and squabbling over parts and record deals and gigs there will be drama and everything!
I'm not putting down too much plot because I think there's ample to work with by yourselves really and because obviously nobody knows these people well you can elaborate and make them into whoever you want really so long as they are a celebrity of something.
And if they are of the slightly older persuasion and you don't want them to be a student there are plenty of teaching positions to be filled, or create as 'assistant'.
